BorderSenses is a nonprofit literary arts organization based in El Paso, Texas. We share your belief that the arts enrich the community and make it more vibrant and creative.
BorderSenses has three on-going projects: BorderSenses, a bilingual literary journal (since 2000); Memorias del silencio, a project in conjunction with the El Paso Community College’s Community Education Program (since 2004) where we provide writing workshops for migrant workers and a venue for the expression of their stories; Barbed Wire, an open mic reading series.
In order to ensure that our ongoing projects and our special projects (such as the publication of Raíces, a GED book in Spanish) continue uninterrupted, we rely on the support of the public through sales and donations. We also seek grants, community support and volunteers.
We invite you to become a BorderSenses member and/or donate so we can continue to serve the community through art and literature.
